Glenugie 2 (Peterhead) photos

NOTE: still being updated, dates etc will still be updated soon.

This is collection of all the Glenugie photos I know. Credit is given where possible, but as with many historic photographs it can be difficult to work out the original photographer. The photos are listed by date (or likely date) where possible.

Overview of distillery with maps/google maps and annotated building locations and likely timing.

Approx. 1884? Distillery called Invernettie until around 1883-84 so unlikely the date in the picture text. Likely pre-1888 when the railway bridge was built approximately.

Likely 1886: distillery workers at the distillery

1888 or a bit later (post 1889 or 1895 or 1901): Railway bridge built

1930's? From "Distilleries of Great Britain and Ireland" (https://www.royalmilewhiskies.com/whisky-history/)
